Arsenal transfer news: Gunners eye Layvin Kurzawa and Piotr Zielinski
PSG’s Kurzawa could replace Hector Bellerin while Napoli star Zielinski is seen as an ‘essential signing’
Having shipped a record-breaking 51 goals this season – the most in their Premier League history – it’s no surprise to learn that Arsenal are intent on strengthening their defence the moment Arsene Wenger walks through the Emirates exit.
According to talkSPORT, the Gunners have “set their sights” on Paris Saint-Germain full-back Layvin Kurzawa. They are confident they’ll be able to lure him across the Channel despite the fact his contract runs for another two years.
Kurzawa, who has previously been linked to the two Manchester clubs, has been a regular for the French champions this season, but according to reports in France they’re willing to discuss a possible move.

Broadcaster RMC Sport claims that Arsenal are ready to “thrash out a deal” for the France international. United and City are now looking elsewhere.
TalkSPORT says that the Gunners are increasingly concerned that Hector Bellerin might leave the club this summer in search of Champions League football. The 25-year-old Kurzawa is seen as a viable alternative.
Another potential Gunner who might test the supporters’ pronunciation skills is Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski. According to the Daily Mirror, Arsenal consider Zielinski an “essential signing” and are ready to activate his £57m buyout clause this summer.
Liverpool are also said to be interested in the 23-year-old Pole. Manager Jurgen Klopp sees him as the man to replace Emre Can, who’s expected to leave on a free transfer next month.
