Courtois out and Alisson in at Chelsea?
It’s not just Roman Abramovich’s future at Chelsea that looks uncertain as goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois seems to be heading out of the club.
According to Sky Sports the Blues are likely to offload Belgian keeper Courtois after the club “decided to stop negotiations” over a contract renewal.

The 26-year-old’s current Chelsea deal expires in a year and he has been linked with moves to Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
If Courtois does leave Stamford Bridge then Chelsea could make a move for Roma keeper Alisson. Sky in Italy report that the Brazilian is a target for Chelsea and they would compete with Real Madrid and Liverpool for his signature.

Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain could move to Chelsea as part of the Serie A club’s bid to bring Alvaro Morata back to Italy. Juve are keen to re-sign Morata but need to get Argentina striker Higuain “off the payroll first”. (London Evening Standard)
United dealt ‘fatal blow’ in bid to sign Bale
Zinedine Zidane’s shock departure from Real Madrid yesterday has dealt Manchester United a “fatal blow” in their attempt to sign Gareth Bale. United were “red-hot favourites” to sign Bale, but Zidane’s resignation means that the Welshman “looks certain to stay at the Bernabeu”. (Daily Mirror)
Aleksandr Golovin: CSKA Moscow to Manchester United
United boss Jose Mourinho may have been on a scouting mission to watch West Ham’s Marko Arnautovic in action for Austria against Russia on Wednesday night, but it appears another player caught his eye. Mourinho is “closing in” on CSKA Moscow’s Aleksandr Golovin and could land the Russian for £15m. (The Sun)
Mousa Dembele: Tottenham to Inter Milan
Inter Milan have joined Italian rivals Juventus, AC Milan and Napoli in the battle to sign Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembele. The Belgian has only a year left on his Spurs contract and Mauricio Pochettino is “prepared to listen to offers for [the] 30-year-old”. (The Daily Telegraph)
Wayne Rooney: Everton to DC United
Everton’s former England forward Wayne Rooney is in “advanced talks” with Major League Soccer’s DC United and could complete his transfer to the US side early next week. (Sky Sports)
Benik Afobe: Bournemouth to Wolves
Premier League new boys Wolves have completed a £12.5m deal to bring Benik Afobe back from Bournemouth. The striker spent six months on loan at Wolves as they stormed to the Championship title. (Sky Sports)
William Carvalho: Sporting Lisbon to Everton
Marco Silva wants to make Sporting Lisbon and Portugal midfielder William Carvalho his first signing after being appointed as Everton manager yesterday. (Daily Mirror)
Thomas Lemar: Monaco to Liverpool
The Guardian reports that Liverpool will “revive their interest” in Monaco forward Thomas Lemar after missing out on signing him during the past transfer windows. French publication L’Equipe adds that Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, Atletico Madrid and Juventus are also interested.
Ousmane Dembele: Barcelona to Liverpool
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is also keen to bring Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele to Anfield. Liverpool have already signed Naby Keita and Fabinho this summer and want to bolster their attack by adding Dembele. (Daily Mail)
