Premier League transfer news: Lewandowski, Malcom, Ospina
Man Utd plot double Bayern Munich raid as Arsenal prepare to offload goalkeepers
Man Utd want Lewandowski
After a frustrating summer in the transfer market Manchester United are lining up deals for Bayern Munich stars Robert Lewandowski and Thiago Alcantara.
The German side are open to selling the pair, reports The Independent, which says “United have both the need in the respective positions and enough money to pull off each deal”.

United were close to signing Spain midfielder Thiago from Barcelona in 2013 before he chose instead to link up again with his old boss Pep Guardiola at Bayern.
According to the Indy, Thiago “is currently understood to be waiting to see if former club Barcelona come in for him” while it adds that “Lewandowski is a player that Jose Mourinho has always admired, but also counts on interest of varying degrees from Real Madrid and Chelsea”.
Everton to sign Malcom
A £35m deal for Bordeaux winger Malcom could be done this week, says Sky Sports, with Everton “in advanced talks” with the French club.
The 21-year-old Brazilian has attracted interest from several big clubs, but Bordeaux refused to let him leave in January.
According to Sky, however, Bordeaux chairman Stephane Martin will meet Everton representatives to discuss a £30m deal plus add-ons over five years worth £80,000 a week.
Arsenal goalkeeper exodus
Petr Cech and David Ospina are both being linked with moves away from Arsenal this summer.
“Chelsea have been offered the chance to re-sign Petr Cech as they ready themselves for a Real Madrid raid for Thibaut Courtois,” says the Daily Mail.
“Arsenal are open to selling Cech to provide manager Unai Emery with the funds needed to continue rebuilding his squad.”
Ospina, meanwhile, has been linked with a move to Besiktas, says Sports Mole.
Sevilla and Napoli have expressed an interest in the 29-year-old, says the website, which adds: “According to reports in Colombia, Ospina has already indicated that his preferred destination is Besiktas, should he be given the green light to depart the Gunners.”
