Premier League transfer news: Mo Salah, Harry Kane, Eden Hazard, Gary Cahill
Spanish giants Real Madrid have failed to lure Premier League stars – so far

Salah and Kane reject Real Madrid
Mo Salah turned down the chance to replace Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid this summer and instead penned a new Liverpool deal.
According to reports in Spain, picked up by The Sun: “Los Blancos spoke with both Salah’s and Harry Kane’s agents about filling the Portugal captain’s boots.”

The paper says despite the approach, Egyptian star Salah “snubbed” Real and opted to extend his contract with Liverpool.
It adds that Tottenham had “no intention” of selling star striker Kane.
But Real still keen on Hazard
But Real Madrid’s quest to fill the void left by Ronaldo has not ended yet. The Sun also claims the Spanish giants are preparing a last-ditch effort to prise Eden Hazard from Chelsea, despite his announcement that he would not leave this summer.
Although the Blues are poised to offer Hazard a £300,000 a week deal, the Belgian “is yet to be convinced his long-term future lies at Stamford Bridge”, says the paper and if he does not leave this season could well be tempted overseas next summer, especially if Chelsea fail to qualify for the Champions League.
“Even if he does sign a new contract it will not necessarily prevent Hazard from leaving next year,” says the Sun.
Loftus-Cheek weighs up Chelsea future
England World Cup star Ruben Loftus-Cheek could still leave Chelsea this summer, reports the Daily Mirror.
The midfielder faces a struggle for game time at Stamford Bridge and could elect to move to Europe before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.
“Chelsea want him to stay and fight for his place at Stamford Bridge and reassess the situation in January,” says the Mirror.
“But midfielder Loftus-Cheek, 22, wants to play regularly in a bid to keep progressing after his big breakthrough season at the top level last year.”
Turkish giants battle for Cahill
Another Chelsea star who could be heading for the exit is forgotten defender Gary Cahill, who is wanted in Turkey.
Both Fenerbahce and Istanbul rivals Galatasaray are interested in the 32-year-old, says website Turkish Football.
“The England international has found himself on the fringes of Chelsea’s squad following the appointment of Maurizio Sarri as manager… [and] has slipped behind Andres Christensen in the pecking order at Stamford Bridge,” it reports.
And that has alerted both the Istanbul clubs, with Fenerbahce set to “meet with Chelsea officials” about a deal.
