If Guardiola is to make a move for Weigl, the 23-year-old won’t come cheap. The Daily Star reports that Guardiola will have to “dig deep into his pockets” and find around £68m for the German international.
Pogba: there will always be rumours
Paul Pogba has spoken about his Manchester United future and his relationship with boss Jose Mourinho. The French midfielder, who has been linked with Barcelona and Juventus, told Telefoot: “To speak about a transfer… I am under contract. There have always been little things with the coach, our relationship is still the same, manager-player. We have common objectives, which are to win. So long as you see that I am not in a Barcelona shirt, that is because I am at Manchester United. There will always be rumours.” (Daily Express)

United wait for Shaw

Areola ‘wanted Chelsea move’
Paris Saint-Germain and France goalkeeper Alphonse Areola was keen to join Chelsea this summer. Chelsea goalkeeper coach Christophe Lollichon told Le Figaro: “We spoke a lot in the summer.
