Premier League transfer news and rumours
Juve rule out move for Pogba
There were rumours that Barcelona and Juventus were preparing to battle it out to sign Manchester United’s Paul Pogba. According to Sky Sports, however, the Italians are “not thinking” about re-signing the French midfielder.
Juve’s sporting director Fabio Paratici said: “We love him very much. We want him to do well since we are close to him but he isn’t a Juve player anymore. We’re connected to him, but we’ve never thought about it and we’re not going to think about it.”

Pogba left United to join Juventus in 2012. He returned to Old Trafford two years ago in an £89m deal that was a world record at the time.
De Gea deal in doubt
Another Manchester United star whose future is uncertain is Spanish goalkeeper David de Gea. The Daily Telegraph reports that United are facing a “serious battle” to convince the No.1 to stay beyond the end of his current contract. The 27-year-old is “reluctant to commit”.
Mass exodus from Old Trafford?
Manchester United are in danger of losing their best players if Jose Mourinho remains in charge. The Daily Mail says that a number of United stars “aren’t happy with how he has treated them” and up to ten could leave because of the unrest at Old Trafford.
