Raheem Sterling: Manchester City to Real Madrid
Raheem Sterling’s two-goal performance in England’s 3-2 win against Spain on Monday not only impressed Three Lions fans but also impressed Real Madrid.
Scouts from Real watched on as Sterling terrorised the Spanish defence in Seville. The Champions League holders are now set to “intensify their interest” in the Manchester City forward.

Aaron Ramsey: Arsenal to Everton
Everton are the latest club linked with Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey. The Welshman’s current contract expires next summer and after failing to agree a new deal at Arsenal he’s set to leave on a free transfer. Everton boss Marco Silva hopes the offer of a £150,000-a-week salary will tempt Ramsey to Merseyside. (The Sun)
Divock Origi: Liverpool to Everton/Galatasaray/Besiktas
Everton are also linked with a January move for striker Divock Origi from city rivals Liverpool. The Belgian is also wanted by Turkish clubs Galatasaray and Besiktas. (talkSPORT)
United ‘prioritise’ De Gea deal
Manchester United’s biggest recruitment aim will be to tie star goalkeeper David de Gea to a new long-term contract.
The Red Devils have made “significant progress” on contract extensions for Luke Shaw and Anthony Martial. They will now make De Gea’s new deal their priority. (London Evening Standard)
Spurs prepare £100m January spending spree
Tottenham failed to sign any players in the summer transfer window but manager Mauricio Pochettino could be ready to go on a £100m spending spree in the January sales. Players linked with a move to Spurs include West Brom winger Oliver Burke, Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele and Manchester United defender Eric Bailly. (Daily Express)
Nathan Ake: Bournemouth to Tottenham/Chelsea/Man Utd
Another player Spurs are linked with is Bournemouth defender Nathan Ake, Sky Sports reports. But Yahoo says that Ake’s former club Chelsea are in “pole position” to re-sign the Dutch international ahead of Tottenham and Manchester United.
No offers for Piatek
Genoa and Poland striker Krzysztof Piatek has been the subject of interest from Chelsea and Liverpool but his agent says there have been no bids from any club. The 23-year-old striker has scored nine goals in seven games for the Italian club in Seria A this season. (CalcioNapoli24)
Cesc Fabregas: Chelsea to Atletico Madrid
La Liga giants Atletico Madrid want to bring Cesc Fabregas back to Spain. The 31-year-old Chelsea midfielder, who won the Fifa World Cup with Spain in 2010, is out of contract at Stamford Bridge at the end of the season. (Football Espana)
