Eriksen’s a wanted man
It has been reported this week that Real Madrid are very keen on signing Christian Eriksen from Tottenham but the Spanish giants could face a battle for the Dane’s signature.
Eriksen is out of contract at Spurs in 2020 and according to reports he is a long way from agreeing a new deal.

Spanish newspaper AS claims that Real have their sights on the 26-year-old but Barcelona, Manchester City and Chelsea are also interested.
Dembele leaves for China
One midfielder who has left Tottenham is Mousa Dembele. The Belgium international, 31, has signed for Chinese Super League side Guangzhou R&F in an £11m deal. (BBC Sport)
Chelsea agree Higuain loan
Sky in Italy and ESPN report today that Chelsea have agreed a deal with Italian club Juventus to sign striker Gonzalo Higuain on loan until the end of the season. The Argentine is currently on loan at AC Milan.
Morata move advances
La Liga side Atletico Madrid are in “advanced talks” to sign Spanish striker Alvaro Morata from Chelsea. (Sky Sports)
Coutinho won’t be returning to Anfield
Philippe Coutinho has been linked with a transfer away from Barcelona but Sky Sports says his former club Liverpool won’t be making a move to bring him back to Anfield. The Brazilian left Merseyside for Barcelona last January. According to the Daily Express he could move to Chelsea in a deal that would see Willian going to the Camp Nou.
Palaversa set for City
Manchester City have agreed a £7m deal to sign 18-year-old midfielder Ante Palaversa from Hajduk Split. City have also signed 21-year-old defender Ko Itakura from Japanese club Kawasaki Frontale. (Sky Sports News)
PSG go for De Jong
Paris Saint-Germain are set to beat Man City and Barcelona in the race to sign Ajax midfielder Frenkie de Jong. It’s reported that PSG are the only side prepared to match the £66m asking price set by Dutch club Ajax. (Daily Mail)
Batshuayi to Everton or Monaco?
The Daily Star reports that Chelsea want to sell Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi to Everton in a £40m deal. The Toffees already have Kurt Zouma on loan from Chelsea so a move for Batshuayi can only be permanent. The Daily Telegraph says the forward is hoping to sign for Monaco on loan.
Gomez to replace Arnautovic?
If Marko Arnautovic leaves West Ham for China the east London club could replace him with Celta Vigo’s 22-year-old Uruguayan striker Maxi Gomez. (Sky Sports)
Juve eye Palmieri
Italian champions Juventus are interested in signing Chelsea left-back Emerson Palmieri. (The Guardian)
Origi an option for Spurs?
With Harry Kane ruled out until March Tottenham may be forced to bolster their attack this month. Liverpool striker Divock Origi is being considered by Spurs as a temporary option. (The Daily Telegraph)
