Premier League transfer news and rumours
De Ligt in, Otamendi out at City?
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola may have missed out on signing Frenkie de Jong but he remains keen on another star youngster at Ajax.
Guardiola wants to bolster his defence, The Sun reports, and on his target list is 19-year-old Ajax centre-half Matthijs de Ligt. City could make a £50m for the Netherlands international.

Pogba to Real, Barca or City?
If Paul Pogba ever leaves Man Utd there are only three clubs where he could improve. According to his brother Florentin that’s Real Madrid, Barcelona or Man City. However, don’t expect the French midfielder to be making the switch across Manchester. Florentin Pogba said: “When my brother eventually leaves Manchester United, he can only go to three teams to improve: City, Real Madrid or Barca. He will not go to City, so he will come to Spain, either to Barca or Real Madrid.” (ESPN)
Spurs have January options
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino says the club is working hard to try and bring in new players during the January transfer window. He said: “I always say I am more than open to add players to the squad. That is so clear. A different thing is if we can find the right player that is going to help us improve. We are working on a few options. We will see if we are able to deliver.” (Sky Sports)
