A University of Missouri professor who called for "some muscle" to help remove a student journalist trying to cover the school's November protests over widespread racism on campus was charged with simple assault Monday. The footage capturing her actions went viral.

Communications professor Melissa Click, who still teaches at Mizzou, faces up to 15 days in jail and a $300 fine, the Columbia Daily Tribune reports.
