Donald Trump has been playing Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" ahead of his campaign events lately as a little reminder that "we could have had it all." But, it turns out, Trump can't have it all — namely, Adele's music.
The British pop star issued a statement reminding Trump that neither he nor any political figure ever got the okay to use her songs. "Adele has not given permission for her music to be used for any political campaigning," her spokesman said.
Trump has also used Adele's "Skyfall" during his campaign. He reportedly played the James Bond theme song with the refrain, "When it crumbles, we will stand tall, face it all together," after delivering a doomsday speech about America's future.
