John Kasich vows to reunite Pink Floyd if he becomes president

If Ohio Gov. John Kasich wins the White House, he has one massive promise to make good on: Reuniting Pink Floyd.

"Roger Waters is a remarkable artist," the Republican presidential candidate said of the Pink Floyd co-founder in an interview with CNN Tuesday. "I saw 'The Wall' in Pittsburgh; it was absolutely incredible. And if I'm president, I am going to once and for all try to reunite Pink Floyd to come together and play a couple of songs."

The reunion wouldn't be without political significance, Kasich added. "[S]ince we have so much trouble in America with our finances," he said, "I'm going to start with a little song they created called 'Money.'"

But, as The Guardian reports, getting the band back together might be easier said than done. Pink Floyd hasn't performed together since 2005, and just last year guitarist David Gilmour said he was done with the band and that their 2014 album was "pretty certain" to be their last.
