As soon as the polls closed in Alabama and Tennessee on Tuesday night, The Associated Press called the states for Hillary Clinton in the Democratic primary. With 99.9 percent of precincts reporting, Clinton dominated Democratic rival Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) with 66.1 percent to Sanders' 32.4 percent.

That means that with five states reporting, Clinton has swept the South. She is also the projected the victor in Virginia and Georgia. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I) won his home state of Vermont.
