It takes two to tango, and Wednesday night in Buenos Aires, President Obama showed off his moves during an official state dinner.
The president and first lady both partnered with professional dancers, and did the Argentine tango in front of guests at the Centro Cultural Kirchner. At first, the president declined the female dancer's outstretched hand, The Associated Press reports, but ultimately the pair danced for about a minute to the delight of dinner attendees.
Obama's trip is about more than just doing the tango. He said he would declassify U.S. military and intelligence records from 40 years ago, when as many as 30,000 Argentinians were killed or disappeared after the country's military coup, and participated in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Cathedral.
