Watch Geraldo Rivera channel his inner Donald Trump on Dancing With the Stars
Geraldo Rivera helped make America cringe again with a Donald Trump–inspired salsa on Dancing With the Stars.
Just when it seemed as though the 2016 presidential race couldn't get any stranger, out came Geraldo Trump on Monday night's show. Rivera, 72, donned a blond wig and fake orange tan for the dance, which started with him pretending to be President Trump in the Oval Office, taking a phone call from Vladimir Putin. Suddenly, Trump's actual worst nightmare came to life, as a "Bienvenidos a Mexico" banner unfurled from the White House desk, and Rivera's jacket was ripped off to reveal a bedazzled tropical top.
Although it was generous to call what Rivera did "dancing," he definitely seemed to be having a good time alongside partner Edyta Sliwinska, with a smile so wide you'd think he'd just found something in Al Capone's vault. Spoiler: Unfortunately for Rivera, he was the first to get cut from the show, but fortunately for the world, he has no plans to ever publicly dance — or pretend to be Donald Trump — ever again.
