John Kasich says Trump is lucky Jon Stewart left The Daily Show

GOP frontrunner Donald Trump should be happy about former Daily Show host Jon Stewart's decision to step down last year, Ohio Gov. John Kasich said on Thursday.
"I mean, [Trump's campaign is] a panoply of mistakes and outrageous statements. You know what it is with Donald? It's just a stream of consciousness," he commented during an interview on ABC News, adding that it's not appropriate for a would-be president to "operate like this."
"You are going to be president of the United States. People around the world must be having a field day, and you know what Donald ought to be happy about is that Jon Stewart's not running The Daily Show."

Before he left his hosting gig, Stewart thanked Trump for "making my last six weeks my best six weeks," calling Trump's campaign announcement speech "the most beautifully ridiculous jibber-jabber ever to pour from the mouth of a batsh-t billionaire."
