North Korea appears to be getting ready for its fifth nuclear bomb test, South Korean President Park Geun-hye announced Monday.
She did not divulge the signs that make her believe a nuclear test is imminent, but South Korea's Yonhap news agency reports that South Korean and U.S. authorities have spotted two to three times more vehicle and personnel activities than normal this month at the Punggye-ri nuclear test site.
Park has ordered the military to be ready for any provocation by Pyongyang, The Associated Press reports, and experts say this test could mean North Korea is one step closer to creating a warhead that's small enough to be put on a long-range missile, bound for the United States.
