Reince Priebus on Donald Trump's tax returns: 'I don't think the traditional playbook applies'

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus isn't concerned that Donald Trump hasn't released his tax returns, he told ABC's Jonathan Karl, who pointed out that it's usually a routine process for presidential hopefuls.

"I don't think the traditional playbook applies, Jon," he said Sunday on This Week. "We've been down this road for a year."

Priebus suggested it's up to the electorate to decide how big of a deal Trump's taxes are.

"Donald Trump represents such a massive change to how things are done in Washington that people don't look at Donald Trump as to whether or not he releases his taxes, or what this story was 30 years ago," he said. "People look at Donald Trump and say, 'Is this person going to cause an earthquake in Washington, D.C., and make something happen?'"
