New national poll finds Hillary Clinton's lead over Donald Trump is growing

The latest national poll by NBC News/Survey Monkey reveals presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton now leads Donald Trump by seven points, 49 percent to 42 percent. That's a three-point bump for Clinton from last week, when she led the presumptive GOP nominee by four points, 48 percent to 44 percent.
While Clinton last week became the first woman to clinch a major party's nomination and snagged endorsements from President Obama and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Trump was reprimanded by the Republican Party for his remarks about U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel.
Clinton's gains came primarily from increased support from "moderates, men, and white voters," NBC reports. The poll was conducted from June 6 to June 12 and surveyed 10,604 adults. Its margin of error is plus or minus 1.4 percentage points.
