Donald Trump punched back at President Obama on Tuesday, asserting in a statement to The Associated Press that the president of the United States "claims to know our enemy, and yet he continues to prioritize our enemy over our allies, and for that matter, the American people."
Earlier Tuesday, Obama had responded to criticisms from Trump and other Republicans that he might not be completely loyal because he doesn't use the phrase "radical Islam." "Calling a threat by a different name does not make it go away. Trump, for his part, declared in his statement that "when I am president, it will always be America first."
