Ever dreamed of receiving hugs on demand? Meet the OrbisBox ($35,000), a squeeze machine made by Danish company Gloria Mundi Care and modeled after the hug machine dreamed up by author and professor Temple Grandin, reports Gizmag.com. Grandin, a high-functioning autistic, recommends its use for calming hypersensitive people. When you lie down in the box, fabric-covered foam panels press in gently from all sides. You can adjust the amount of pressure and get out of the machine at any point. Users have the option of activating music and colored LED lighting to increase the relaxing effect.
