A spokesman for the Rio 2016 organizing committee said the main ramp at the Olympic sailing venue partially collapsed Saturday due to stormy seas and high tides, not shoddy workmanship.

The ramp at the Marina da Gloria is a temporary structure, and training won't be affected because the boats can use a permanent ramp nearby, The Guardian reports. No one was hurt when the ramp collapsed, and the spokesman said the repairs are expected to be completed within four days. Sailing competitions start August 8.
