Stephen Colbert said on Wednesday's Late Show that he's not impressed with Apple ditching the headphone jack on the new iPhone and is skeptical that God is signaling a November win for Team Trump. He began by noting that CNN poll showing Donald Trump up 2 points over Hillary Clinton among likely voters. "Now, I'm not sure how that happened," he said. "I'm going to say that angry white men have started to reproduce asexually."
But there's another possible explanation. "Last week, Trump may have gotten a sign that he will win in November," Colbert said. Or last least his lawyer, Michael Cohen, thinks he did, because he tweeted out a photo of a cloud that kind of looks like Trump, with the caption: "In case anyone is unsure as to who will be our next #POTUS, the Lord has chosen the people's messenger." "Yes, God made a Trump-shaped cloud — though the cloud actually holds a position longer than the real Donald Trump can," Colbert quipped, adding that the Lord moves in mysterious ways, because the same day he also endorsed a sea horse, a ducky, and other, um, creatures.
