Comey on Trump's threat: 'Lordy, I hope there are tapes'

In May, President Trump issued an odd threat to his recently fired FBI director, James Comey:

The tweet sent shockwaves through the political sphere, as the insinuation that the president was taping private conversations in the Oval Office was a stunning one.
