Multiple House representatives confirmed that the annual Congressional Baseball Game will be held Thursday as planned, despite a tragic attack on the GOP team during practice Wednesday morning:
The congressional baseball tradition started in 1909 and brings together "Senate and House members of each party … to settle scores and solidify friendships off the floor and on the field." A former assistant to former President Barack Obama suggested the teams "shouldn't be partisan" at tomorrow's game, but rather defined by some other means.
