Beyonce is somehow not the most followed celebrity on Instagram
Instagram released its "2017 Year in Review" and somehow, someway Beyonce is not the most followed celebrity on the popular photo app. With 108 million followers, the Grammy-winning icon placed fourth on a top 10 list behind vocal powerhouse and social media favorite Ariana Grande, and forever shirtless soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo. Back on the music scene after a kidney transplant, Selena Gomez placed first on the list with over 130 million followers.
Beyonce did have the single post with the highest number of likes though, a photo showing her pregnant with twins.
The lists were compiled using data from 800 million users between Jan. 1 and Nov. 29. The 2017 Review included top 10 lists for everything from "most-liked posts" to "top hashtags."
