The Shape of Water, Frances McDormand, Gary OIdman win at 90th Academy Awards

The Shape of Water was named best picture Sunday night at the 2018 Academy Awards, with Guillermo del Toro winning best director.
Gary Oldman, who portrayed Winston Churchill in Darkest Hour, won the best actor award, while Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri's Frances McDormand took home the best actress statue and Sam Rockwell won best actor in a supporting role. In her acceptance speech, McDormand asked every woman in the audience who had been nominated for an award to stand, and urged Hollywood producers to finance more movies written by and for women.
Other winners include I, Tonya's Allison Janney for best actress in a supporting role; Get Out's Jordan Peele for best original screenplay; Call Me By Your Name's James Ivory for best adapted screenplay; Coco for best animated feature film; and Icarus for documentary feature.
