If there's one thing everyone can agree with former President George H.W. Bush on, it's his splendid taste in socks.
From creating a custom pair for a GOP fundraiser to sporting another president's face, Bush spent his later years wearing his personality on his feet. That legacy will continue as the late Bush is buried in socks that "pay tribute to his lifetime of service," his spokesman said Monday.
Before holding a variety of government jobs and eventually becoming president, Bush served in World War II. He enlisted at age 18 just after the Pearl Harbor bombing, making him "one of the youngest naval aviators" at the time, per the U.S. Navy.

Bush died Friday at age 94, just months after his wife Barbara died at age 92. The late president will lie in state in the Capitol Rotunda before funeral services in both Washington, D.C. and Texas.
