Kevin Hart announced on Tuesday that he will host the 91st annual Academy Awards on Feb. 24.

In an Instagram post, the actor and comedian said he will work hard to make the ceremony "a special one," and considers it "the opportunity of a lifetime." Late night host Jimmy Kimmel hosted the last two Oscar shows, with ratings dropping each year; the 2018 ceremony had a record low of just 26.5 million viewers. The 2019 Academy Awards will be produced by Donna Gigliotti and Glenn Weiss, and they've promised the ceremony won't run over three hours.
