Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson suit up in the first trailer for the Men in Black reboot

Here come the (new) Men in Black.
Sony Pictures Entertainment on Thursday released the first official trailer for the Men in Black reboot, Men in Black: International, which stars Thor: Ragnarok's Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson in the lead roles as secret government agents who protect the world from aliens. Gone are Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, although their characters are briefly referenced. But the trailer features basically every other staple of the Men in Black franchise, from the black suits and glasses to the insanely goofy aliens and the Neuralyzer that erases bystanders' memories.
Also starring in the reboot are Liam Neeson, who plays the head of the Men in Black's U.K. division, and Emma Thompson, who's reprising her role as Agent O from Men in Black 3 in what seems to be the reboot's main connection to the previous films. The movie, which Sony hopes can relaunch the franchise after a six-year absence, is directed by F. Gary Gray (The Fate of the Furious) and written by Art Marcum and Matt Holloway (Transformers: The Last Knight). It hits theaters on June 14th. Check out the trailer below. Brendan Morrow
