WWE wrestler Roman Reigns announces his cancer is in remission
WWE wrestler Roman Reigns just body-slammed cancer.
Four months after announcing his leukemia had returned, Reigns said Monday, "I'm in remission, ya'll." Reigns made this announcement at the top of Raw, prompting cheers from the crowd.
Reigns relinquished his Universal Championship title in October after revealing his leukemia diagnosis, saying he was originally diagnosed when he was 22. Fans on Monday feared the worst when WWE said Reigns would be providing an update on his status, with some worrying he might be retiring.

Instead, as Reigns told an enthusiastic crowd, "The Big Dog is back." In a Tuesday appearance on Good Morning America, Reigns said he was "so nervous" about this segment but expressed his gratitude for fans' support.
It was not immediately clear when Reigns will get back into action or what his role could be at the upcoming WrestleMania 35, which will take place on April 7. But when the crowd on Monday began to chant "WrestleMania," Roman responded that he'll "get to that later," per CBS Sports. Watch the segment below. Brendan Morrow
