South Korean military: North Korea fired 2 projectiles into sea

North Korea fired two unidentified projectiles from the coastal town of Wonsan early Thursday, South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said. They flew 267 miles, landing in the sea.
South Korea said it's not clear what type of projectiles were fired; previously, similar launches involved artillery or missiles, The Associated Press reports.
In June, President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un agreed to start nuclear negotiations again, following their failed February summit in Vietnam. Last week, North Korea said it was thinking of ending its suspension of nuclear and missile testing to protest expected joint military drills between the U.S. and South Korea, and on Tuesday, state media reported Kim wants to see the country's military expand.
