Amazon has unsurprisingly had a good holiday season.
The online retailer declined to share the specifics of its holiday sales in a Thursday post-Christmas press release, but did confirm this year's season was "record breaking." "Billions” of items were ordered and "tens of millions" of Amazon products were sold around the world, the release said.
The Amazon Echo Dot, Fire TV Stick, and Echo Show 5 topped this year's list of best-selling Amazon products, while an L.O.L. Surprise doll and Roomba vacuum were among other top sellers. Products from Carhartt, AmazonBasics, and Champion also topped Amazon carts. Another highlight for Amazon came earlier in the year, when five million people signed up for an Amazon Prime trial in one week alone.
