Twitter CEO announces departure of 4 top executives

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey confirmed Sunday that four of Twitter's top executives will be leaving the company.

Product chief Kevin Weil, head of engineering Alex Roetter, vice president of global media Katie Jacobs Stanton, and vice president of human resources Skip Schipper will be "taking some well-deserved time off," Dorsey said in a statement posted on Twitter. Dorsey tweeted that he was "really hoping to talk to Twitter employees about this later this week," but felt he had to set the record straight because of "inaccurate press rumors today regarding their departures."
