Chicago Cubs baseball team say Prodigy song was in 'poor taste' - and other tall tales
Our pick of the strange but true stories from around the world.
Music choice hits a bum note
The Chicago Cubs baseball team has fired one of its stadium DJs for what they called an "inappropriate music choice" during a game on Sunday evening. The club says the DJ's decision to play The Prodigy's Smack My Bitch Up as pitcher Aroldis Chapman left the mound in the ninth inning showed poor judgement and was in bad taste. Chapman was accused of choking his former girlfriend and firing eight bullets into the wall of his garage in a domestic violence incident in 2015. He had only recently returned from his resulting 30-week ban from baseball.
