Opera accompanies fine dining at the five-star Landmark London hotel
A chance to enjoy some of the world's finest arias – and a wonderful meal
The Landmark London hotel is offering opera fans and lovers of fine dining the chance to combine both passions with an evening of music and food on 7 October.
World-class performers will attend the central London hotel's Night At The Opera, a celebration of some of the best opera accompanied by a five-course gourmet dinner.
The evening starts with an aperitif at 7pm. Guests will then sit down in the hotel's Victorian Winter Garden Restaurant, an eight-storey glass atrium in the heart of the 1899 hotel.

Singers will serenade diners and mingle with them to chat – and between courses there will be three 20-minute musical interludes.
The performers will showcase celebrated arias and ensembles from the great operas of Mozart, Puccini and the lighter repertoire of Bizet and Delibes.
The Landmark London, originally The Great Central Hotel, was the last of the great Victorian railway hotels built in the capital after the Midland Grand at St Pancras, the Great Eastern at Liverpool Street and the Great Western Royal at Paddington.
The brainchild of entrepreneur Sir Edward Watkins, the hotel has 300 rooms and was originally intended to be the terminus for a line linking England to France via a channel tunnel – almost 100 years before the tunnel was eventually built.
Now a five-star hotel, The Landmark is a popular wedding venue and boasts a luxurious health club and spa. It also offers award-winning afternoon teas.
The hotel warns that demand will be high for the Night At The Opera so early booking is a must. The feast of food and music costs £110 and the dress code is "smart attire".
To book, call 020 7631 8000 or email restaurants.reservation@thelandmark.co.uk.
