Advertised via a tweet and a poster on the Glastonbury Festival website, this is one of the organisers' earliest full-programme announcements in years.

Clean Bandit, Chic, Craig David, Emeli Sande, Solange, Kaiser Chiefs, Major Lazer, Run the Jewels, Alt-J, Boy Better Know, The Jacksons, HAIM, Justice, Dizzee Rascal and George Ezra will also be playing.

Add to the list Laura Marling, Phoenix, First Aid Kid, The Flaming Lips, Warpaint, Metronomy, Goldfrapp, Sleaford Mods, The Avalanches, Glass Animals and Courteeners and festival-goers are in for a busy time if they want to catch a glimpse of all the acts on stage.

However, the paper suggests country singer Kris Kristofferson, known for songs such as Me And Bobby McGee and Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down, might follow in the footsteps of Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers at the festival.

Glastonbury will take place at its traditional home of Worthy Farm, Somerset from 23-25 June. Tickets have already sold out. Glasto-goers must pay off the rest of their deposit this weekend, too.

Festival organisers will take their regular fallow year in 2018.
