London investment banker denies 'jogger rage'

Eric Bellquist, the financier arrested after a woman was shoved in front of a double-decker bus on a London bridge, says he was in the US when the jogging assault occurred.

Bellquist was arrested at an address in Chelsea, west London and released on bail without charge, the Daily Telegraph reports.

Bellquist works for Hutton Collins Partners, a private equity firm that owns restaurant chains Wagamama and Byron. He previously worked for US investment bank Lehman Brothers.
