If you're a Gooner you can stop worrying about Gameover Zeus and start thinking about Marco Reus. One of them shuts down your PC, the other is about to spark the Arsenal midfield into life, that is if Caughtoffside is functioning properly.
The website claims that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is "sizing up a big money move" for Borussia Dortmund ace Reus. Apparently the Nutty Professor has been tailing the 25 year old German international for months and has been given the green light by the Gunners' board to "make a club record £45m bid" for the Teutonic titan.
It's his versatility that has caught the eye of Wenger, and Caughtoffside says he will convert Reus from an attacking midfielder into a frontman capable of complementing Olivier Giroud. Apparently Wenger sees Reus as a better buy than Schalke frontman Julian Draxler, a long-term Arsenal target who has potential but at £35m is seen as too much of a risk for the Frenchman.

Still with the Gunners and Goal.com claims the north London club have all but wrapped up the signing of Toulouse right-back Serge Aurier. Apparently Arsenal are on the brink of agreeing a £7m deal for the 21-year-old, who is viewed by Wenger as the man to replace the outgoing Bacary Sagna. Currently preparing for the World Cup with the Ivory Coast squad, Aurier has made no secret of his desire to move from Toulouse to a football city like London in recent weeks.
Now, in conversation with French broadcaster RMC, Aurier's agent, Stephane Courbis, has admitted that Arsenal have "held discussions over a move". Though Courbis refused to confirm that a concrete offer has been tabled by the Gunners, Goal.com reports that Arsenal are "confident" they have their man.
Talking of agents, Talksport says that the representative of Liverpool's Luis Alberto has confirmed his client is set to move to Malaga on loan. The 21-year-old Alberto has failed to cut the mustard at Anfield and asked by broadcaster Malaga Today what the player's intentions were, agent Enrique Rosado replied: "We are negotiating with several clubs... [but] Luis Alberto likes the possibility of Malaga."
Talksport claims that Espanyol are also interested in the frontman-cum-winger and Liverpool will listen to all offers as they look to recoup some of the £6.8m they forked out for Alberto last summer.
But if Liverpool are about to lose one Spaniard are they verge on signing of another? Yes, according to Sky Sports, which reports that Sevilla president Jose Castro has confirmed Liverpool's interest in full-back Alberto Moreno. The 21-year-old has been scouted by the Reds in recent months and when asked if Liverpool were about to table an offer, Castro responded: "It's true that there's interest from Liverpool and we're waiting to see if that turns into a reality."
Though Castro said no official approach had been made by the Anfield club, he added: "What I'm clear about is that we'll not force anyone to stay at Sevilla. Whoever wants to leave can do so, but we'll be the ones setting the prices."
