World Cup favourites drop the ball
England captain Eoin Morgan was not happy with his side’s fielding display in the Cricket World Cup loss against Pakistan yesterday.
The tournament favourites fell to a 14-run defeat at Trent Bridge despite Joe Root and Jos Buttler scoring centuries.

United target Maddison
Leicester City playmaker James Maddison is a priority target for Manchester United, the Independent reports. No official bid has been made for the 22-year-old, but United are in pole position to sign him.
Origi to hold talks
The Daily Star says that Liverpool striker Divock Origi will sit down for talks with the club over a new long-term contract. The 24-year-old Belgian scored in Saturday’s Champions League final win over Tottenham.
