The US presidential election and consumer technology products dominate this year's rankings of Google's most searched terms and trends.
Following the deaths of several notable names, Google also created a ranking of trending losses, which is headed by pop stars Prince and David Bowie. Actor Alan Rickman and boxer Muhammed Ali also feature in the top five.

The EU referendum was among the highest ranked searches in the UK, with Theresa May and Boris Johnson featuring in the most trending public figures. Terms such as "What is Brexit?" and "How to play Pokemon Go?" were among the top questions searched.
