The US presidential election and consumer technology products dominate this year's rankings of Google's most searched terms and trends.
Niantic's Pokemon Go mobile game takes the top spot for most searched term in 2016, followed by the launch of the iPhone 7 and Donald Trump. The US president-elect also ranked as the most trending personality of the year, ahead of his Democratic rival Hilary Clinton and Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps.
Following the deaths of several notable names, Google also created a ranking of trending losses, which is headed by pop stars Prince and David Bowie. Actor Alan Rickman and boxer Muhammed Ali also feature in the top five.
