Man Utd transfer news: Spurs must pay £30m for Martial
United reject Spurs, but could be willing to sell French wideman if the price is right

Tottenham have drawn a blank in their bid to sign Anthony Martial, claims The Independent.
The future of the 21-year-old at Manchester United has been the subject of intense speculation this summer with the Indy claiming that Red Devils gaffer Jose Mourinho has a preference for wide players "that will play with more defensive discipline than the French international".
Martial has been linked with a possible move to Inter Milan - with United using the frontman as a bargaining chip in their attempt to land Ivan Perisic - but that rumour appears to have gone cold. However, the Independent, citing French broadcaster RMC Sport as their source, reports that Spurs "have now made a concrete offer for Martial's services".

Mauricio Pochettino has been looking for a wideman ever since missing out on Wilfried Zaha in May and Martial is top of his summer shopping list. For the moment United are refusing to enter negotiations but it's believed they may be willing to talk if a bid in the region of £30m lands on their desk.
Finally, it is the silly season so perhaps that's why the Manchester Evening News claims that Antoine Griezmann, fresh from pledging his allegiance to Atletico Madrid, "could make a big u-turn and consider an offer to join United". In fairness to the MEN they take their cue from Spanish outlet Don Balon, which claims that the Frenchman "could make a last minute move after becoming upset". Apparently the Gallic grumpiness stems from the fact that Atletico could be willing to sell Jan Oblak to Paris Saint-Germain which, allied to their failure to sign Diego Costa, has allegedly prompted Griezmann to consider his future in the Spanish capital.
