KASABIAN has been announced as the Sunday headline act at Glastonbury Festival this year, joining Arcade Fire, who top the bill on Friday – but the Saturday headliner is still a mystery.
More than 80 bands have been announced so far for the festival, which is taking place from 27 to 29 June this year.

Glastonbury festival organiser Emily Eavis has told BBC 6Music that the Saturday headline act has been booked and confirmed but cannot be named until May for "contractual reasons".
The Independent notes that Metallica and Prince were hotly tipped to headline and were not featured on the list released today. Fleetwood Mac and Adele have also been mooted in the press as possibilities, says the Daily Telegraph.
Kasabian – made up of Serge Pizzorno, Chris Edwards, Tim Carter and Ian Matthews – will make their debut at the festival ahead of the release of their new album. Pizzorno has told NME he can now "die a happy man".
There was a mixed reaction on Twitter, with some people very excited and others disappointed that they were not able to buy tickets. "My eyes are hurting looking at the Glastonbury line up. Too.much.goodness," wrote one Tweeter.

But others have described it as average, or, worse still, just "meh".

Tickets for Glastonbury 2014 sold out in record time when they went on sale last October, with 120,000 tickets sold in 87 minutes, 13 minutes quicker than the previous year's record.
For those who missed out, cancelled or refunded tickets will be available from 7pm on Thursday 24 April, and again at 9am on Sunday 27 April.
