Cadillac CT6 V-Sport
Cadillac will unveil a “far-reaching”, overhauled version of its flagship CT6 saloon in New York, according to Digital Trends.
The new model, called the CT6 V-Sport, is equipped with a 4.2-litre V8 twin-turbocharged engine that delivers 542bhp and 627lb-ft of torque across all four wheels, the website says. The V-Sport can also be specced with a driverless feature that controls wheel and pedal inputs on motorways.
Whether the CT6 V-Sport makes its way to the European market is still unknown, but it’s due to go on sale in the US in 2019.

A faster SVR version of Jaguar’s range-topping F-Pace SUV [pictured above] will make its public debut in Manhattan.
Developed by the company’s Special Vehicle Operations team, the F-Pace SVR is powered by the same 5.0-litre V8 engine that can be found in the company’s F-Type SVR sports car and the Range Rover Sport, Autocar reports.
With a power output of 567bhp and a 0-62mph time of “around 4.0 seconds”, the magazine says the F-Pace SVR could become “the quickest mid-sized SUV on the market” when it launches later this year.
Lexus RC F Sport Black Line
The Lexus RC may be one of the oldest cars in the firm’s line-up, but that hasn’t stopped the company from launching Black Line special edition versions of the sporty grand tourer.
Available on RC 300 and RC 350 F models, Motor1 says the Black Line version comes with two new paint colours - Caviar and Atomic Silver - as well as matt black wheels and either orange or black brake calipers.
Only 650 examples of each model will be available, the website says, but it’s not yet known whether the limited-edition GT will make its way to UK shores.
Mercedes C-Class Coupe and Cabriolet
Facelifted variants of the Mercedes C-Class Coupe and Cabriolet will make their public debuts in New York, before going on sale in July.
The updated models come with a slightly revised design and upgraded engines, according to Auto Express, along with digital cockpit dials and a selection of new colours. The cars also come with “improved camera and radar systems”, which are paired to a host of driver assistance features.
Prices will be announced next month, although the magazine predicts the Coupe version will enter at £34,000. The Cabriolet will likely command a slightly higher price tag at £39,000.
