David Icke to publish ‘truth’ book about 9/11 attacks

Arch conspiracy theorist David Icke claims he is set to reveal “the truth” behind the 9/11 attacks in the US. The 67-year-old says his forthcoming book, The Trigger, to be published on 11 September, “is one of the most controversial books ever written”. As The Guardian notes, this is the man who also believes “that interstellar lizards in people suits rule our country”.
Message in a bottle found 1,624 miles away
A message in a bottle discovered by a Welsh family travelled 1,624 miles in just under four years. Emma Rees said her family found “a pale little wine bottle” which turned out to contain a letter written by a German couple who had dropped the bottle into the ocean during a cruise. The couple included the ship's coordinates.

Customs catch man trying to smuggle tarantulas
Customs officials at an airport in French Guiana caught a man trying to smuggle nearly 100 tarantula spiders in his luggage. The Polish man reportedly tried to carry a bag containing 38 adult and 50 young spiders, along with dozens of egg-filled cocoons. Officials said the man had described himself as “passionate about insects”.
