An “anti-Brexit cat” will stand in the general election for the constituency of Gilingham and Rainham in Kent. Anti-Brexit campaigner Peter Cook says he will represent Stan as part of his UCAT party, which offers “a Brexit deal which is kinder on pets and which sticks two paws up to Boris Johnson and the likes of Jacob Rees-Moggy”.
