‘John Lennon is alive’ theory emerges online
And other stories from the stranger side of life
A theory has emerged that John Lennon did not really die in 1980. Under an online video of Lennon lookalike Mark Staycer, a number of comments suggest that the Staycer is, in fact, the Beatle himself. “This man is John Lennon, I guess he didn't really die back in 1980,” wrote one. Another commented: “That's John Lennon or I'll go eat a shovel of dirt.”
Customer fumes as Amazon driver ‘pees on floor’
An Amazon customer was left steaming with anger when a delivery driver urinated over his toilet floor. A woman has accidentally swallowed her dentures while eating an Aldi mince pie. After realising what she’d done, Angela McGill, 52, went to hospital and an X-ray revealed the plate was stuck half way down her throat.
The mum-of-three from Glasgow, said: “I think I made their day to be honest, maybe even their year. It was ever so funny!” After flushing the dentures down the loo, she is now on the look out for a set of fresh fangs.
