Man sees Loch Ness monster ‘splashing around’

The first sighting of the Loch Ness Monster this decade has been reported. Eoin O'Faodhagain, described as a “veteran Nessie watcher”, claims to have spotted an object “swimming and splashing around” in Urquhart Bay. A study in 2018 revealed that the mythical creature is worth £41m a year to the Scottish economy.
Man jailed after ‘burning’ one million dollars
A Canadian businessman was jailed for 30 days after telling a judge he burned one million Canadian dollars in cash to avoid paying his wife spousal and child support as part of their divorce settlement. A judge told failed mayoral candidate Bruce McConville: “I don’t believe you. I don’t trust you. I don’t think you’re honest.”

Fox slips into parliament
A fox broke into parliament yesterday. The cunning mammal was spotted climbing an escalator into the main building where MPs work. Later, a video showed the fox being removed from a building in a blue box, before being released onto the pavement next to the River Thames.
