A park in the US had to be closed due to reports snakes had arrived and were mating in large numbers. The city of Lakeland in Florida closed off a section of ground after receiving reports that numerous snakes had swarmed the area. “It appears they have congregated for mating... as they seem to do yearly,” the city's Parks & Recreation department wrote on Facebook.
South African restaurant serves most milkshakes in the world
Guinness World Records has named a restaurant in South Africa as the official titleholder for ‘Most Varieties of Milkshakes Commercially Available’. Gibson’s Gourmet Burgers and Ribs has a whopping 207 varieties of milkshake, including nutella, mascarpone and Oreo cheesecake.

Ring lost in the US in 1973 turns up in Finland
A ring lost in Maine in 1973 has been found buried beneath a forest floor in Finland and returned to its owner. Debra McKenna, 63, lost the Morse High School ring in a Portland department store shortly after her future husband, Shawn, gave it to her when he left for college. She believes the sudden discovery of the ring is a message from her husband, who passed away some time ago.
