The Best Fifa Men’s Player award 2018: Ronaldo, Messi, Kane and Salah on shortlist
England’s Lucy Bronze is on the women’s shortlist while Gareth Southgate is a contender for best men’s coach
Four Premier League stars - Harry Kane, Eden Hazard, Kevin De Bruyne and Mohamed Salah - are on the ten-name shortlist for The Best Fifa Men’s Player 2018 award.
Two-time winner Cristiano Ronaldo, last year’s recipient, is going for a hat-trick and he will be up against big rival Lionel Messi and former Real Madrid teammates Raphael Varane and Luka Modric.
Varane won the Champions League with Real and the World Cup with France while Modric also led his Croatia side to the World Cup final.
